			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Eyes can often hold a lot of unnecessary tension and stress. Your “windows of soul” get tired and dry from constant strain and improper lighting. Try these exercises &#8211; they are easy to do and most of them can be performed any time of the day wherever you are. These exercises soothe and lubricate tired eyes, relax and tone eye muscles, and strengthen your focus. If you already have eye problems when you begin these exercises, you will find your eyesight improving after a few months of daily practice.</p>
<p>1. Sit erect in a comfortable position. Slowly move your eyes up and down, as far as you can, without moving the head or neck. Let your eyes see as far up and as far down as possible without causing strain. Repeat 10 times. Close your eyes and relax.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">2. Next, slowly move your eyes from side to side, as far as you can, at eye level. Repeat 10 times. You will able to move your eyes farther and more easily with practice. Keeping your head straight, look up to the top left-hand corner, then move your eyes across and down to the bottom right, then move them up to the top right-hand corner, and then across and down to the bottom left. Finish by moving your eyes back up to the top left. Repeat five times. <p style="text-align: left;">5. Move your eyes slowly and effortlessly round in circles, alternating between clockwise and anti-clockwise motions. Repeat five times. <p>6. Hold your finger under the tip of your nose. Then start moving it away, without raising it, until you have fixed it at the closest possible distance where you can see it clearly. Then raise your eyes a little and look at a distant point on the horizon. Repeat five times. Close your eyes and relax.</p>
<p>7. Close your eyes as tightly as you possibly can. Hold this contraction for three seconds, and then let go quickly. This exercise causes a deep relaxation of the eye muscles, and is especially beneficial after the slight strain caused by the eye exercises. Repeatedly blink your eyes for about five times.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">8. Rub your palms together and gently cup them over your closed eyes. Imagine the blackness getting darker and darker. Relax for a few minutes. It&#8217;s an ideal way to finish off the eye exercises. <p><strong>Close-set eyes. </strong>To create a sense of more space between your eyes, concentrate darker colours on the outside corners of your eyes.</p>
<p><strong>Wide-set eyes.</strong> To create a sense that eyes are set closer together, concentrate darker colors on the inside corners of your eyes.</p>
<p><strong>Low eyebrow.</strong> Lift a low brow by tweezing to a classic arch and adding highlight (a light color) just under the brow bone.</p>
<p><strong>Heavy lid.</strong> Use a bit of darker color along the lid to downplay the heaviness.</p>
<p><strong>Sunken eyes.</strong> Use light colors to bring out a deep-set eye.</p>
<p>You’ll have to do a little experimenting to find the right look for your face; remember the rule about dark colors giving the illusion of receding and light colors bringing things forward.</p>

<p><strong>Start with primer</strong>. If your eye makeup never seems to stay put, try a primer (available at makeup counters) before applying additional layers.</p>
<p><strong>Brighten eyes</strong>. To reduce red-eye, or make tired eyes look more awake, line the inside of your lower eyelids with a flesh-toned liner. A natural shade is subtler than white.</p>
<p><strong>Hues to use</strong>. Many people look great in coffee-hued shadows. A more surprising shade that many can wear well? Lavender. It enhances almost every eye color.</p>
<p><strong>Subtle liner</strong>. If black liner looks too harsh but brown doesn&#8217;t seem to blend, try gray. Start at the outer corners and work in, hugging top and bottom lash lines.</p>
<p><strong>Balance the face</strong>. Strong eyes? Then play down your other makeup, with a softer gloss on lips and a natural color on cheeks.</p>
<p><strong>Liner notes</strong>. The secret to using liquid liner is to press (not sweep) it on using a flat, square-tip brush along the lash line. This technique paints a precise rim of definition.</p>
<p><strong>Fix mistakes fast</strong>. Dip a cotton swab in an oil-free moisturizer and dab the soft tip on the back of your hand until it feels almost dry. Use it t wipe away stray marks.</p>
<p><strong>Double up your mascara</strong>. For long, full lashes without clumps, use two types of mascara: Apply a lengthening and separating mascara first, then a volumizing one.</p>
<p><strong>Add bronzer</strong>. Don&#8217;t forget to bronze your eyes, too. Sweep a thin line of bronzer along lower lash lines to make your eye color pop.</p>
<p><strong>Gold and gray</strong>. If smoky eyes are too strong for your fair complexion, try pale gold shadow and gray liner. The effect is subtle but sexy.</p>

Sprinkle translucent powder on a makeup sponge and blend over the too-bright color. The trick is to blend the color in toward the apple of the cheeks instead o out toward your eyes. If cheeks still look too intense, go over them again with two drops of foundation on a makeup wedge.</p>
<p><strong>Clumpy mascara</strong><br />
Act immediately, since mascara is formulated to dry in seconds. Wipe all the formula off  your mascara wand with a piece of paper napkin (not a tissue, which may shed) and wiggle the wand gently from side to side, from roots to the tips of lashes.</p>
<p><strong>Eyebrow gap</strong><br />
To fill the undesired void, brush brow hairs in the opposite direction of growth so the bare area becomes more visible, then use an ultrafine brow pencil to cover it with light, hair-length strokes. Finally, brush the brow back into place.</p>
<p><strong>Smudged polish</strong><br />
Dip the pad of a finger from the opposite hand into polish remover and gently blend away the smear with your finger. Add a coat of clear polish instead of more color (which would make that nail darker than the others).</p>
<p><strong>Perfume overdose</strong><br />
To remove a fragrance’s concentrated oil base, rub skin with an unscented baby wipe or a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. To vaporize a scent that you’ve oversprayed on clothing, blast fabric with hair dryer for 30 seconds.</p>
<p><strong>Stiff hairspray</strong><br />
Use a wide-tooth comb on a small sections of hair, starting at the ends and working up to the roots. Rub a dime-size dollop of hand cream between your hands and run your fingers through the over-sprayed spot to take away the crackle and add moisture. Shake your head upside down after-ward, since some cheaper sprays flake once the formula is broken up.</p>

<p>Then close your eyes and lay down with the cool, wet teabags over them for a few minutes. Tea is mildly astringent and will cool and relax the eyes. Next, place the cucumber mixture over the eyes in the same way, avoiding contact with the actual eye itself. Relax and let the cooling enzymes do their work. Rinse to remove and pat the eye area dry with a soft towel.</p>
