Hair Loss Treatment: Natural Remedies and Homemade Recipes

Diet for hair loss: Well-balanced is essential for health of your hair. Most of your calories should come from the following: whole grains, vegetables, fruits, low-fat dairy products, lean meat and poultry, fish, legumes, nuts. Sea vegetables such as kelp are good sources of trace minerals which are necessary for your hair, skin and nails. Avoid consuming excessive amounts of animal fats, animal proteins, and salt.

Caution: Excessive intake of Vitamin A can cause hair loss.

For lifeless hair use vitamin E, flaxseed oil, and evening primrose oil.

Drink plenty of water! Peppermint, lemon and ginger teas are very good for your hair.

Juice therapy: Carrot, beet, spinach, onion.

Circulation to the scalp is important. Exercise regularly. Massage scalp daily (even better with castor or almond oil).

Warning! Do not do use this recipe if you have a date tomorrow, as your hair will keep slight onion odour for a day or two.

Henna is claimed to make hair stronger and to increase hair growth.
