		<description>Homemade Bath Oils

Recipe 1

Ingredients

    *
2 to 3 cups of Fresh Herbs or 4 cups of Dried Herbs – you can choose rose petals or lavender
    *
1 cup Alcohol (vodka is the cleanest)
    *
      5 cups Sweet Almond Oil

Directions

    *
Take a large cooking pot, enough to accommodate all the ingredients, and pour the sweet almond oil and herbs in it.
    *
Allow the mixture to simmer on the stove for about one hour.
    *
Now, strain the oil into a bowl.
    *
If you wish to go for a stronger fragrance, repeat the same procedure using the strained oil potion and add more herbs to it.
    *
Mix 4 parts oil and 1 part alcohol for about 10 seconds and then pour the mix into a bottle.
    *
Store this bottle in a cool and dry place and use a few drops in your bath tub to spurt the fragrance.

Recipe 2

Ingredients

    *
1 cup of any Fragrant Essential oil
    *
      1 cup Alcohol (preferably vodka)
    *
4 cups Safflower Oil or Sweet Almond Oil

Directions

    *
Combine the essential oil, sweet oil and alcohol and mix them in a blender for about 10 seconds.
    *
Pour this mixture into a bottle and replace the cap.
    *
Store the bottle in a dry place away from sunlight.
    *
Use 4 or 5 drops under running water to get the fragrances out.

Recipe 3

Ingredients

    *
2 oz. of Sweet Almond oil
    *
20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil

Directions

    *
Take a large glass vessel and mix the oils well.
    *
Store this in glass bottles away from sunlight.
    *
Use approximately ¼ ounce or 7-8 ml of this bath oil in your bath water.
    *
Mix properly so that the bath oil blend disperses evenly in the bath water.

Recipe 4

Ingredients

    *
      1½ oz. Olive Oil
    *
      3 oz. Almond Oil
    *
      1 oz. Sesame Oil
    *
      1 oz. Canola Oil
    *
      1/2 oz. Wheat Germ Oil

Directions

    *
Pour all the oils in a glass jar and mix well.
    *
Cap the jar with a fitting lid and shake the blend again.
    *
Use about 1oz. of this bath oil for every bath.

Recipe 5

Ingredients

    *
15-30 drops of Essential Oil of your choice
    *
1 oz. Basic Bath Oil Blend or any Carrier Oil

Directions

    *
Take a small-mouth jar and pour the basic bath oil blend or any carrier oil leaving about 1 inch of space above it.
    *
Drip in the essential oils carefully in the jar.
    *
Close the jar with a fitting lid and mix well.
    *
Add 1-2 teaspoons of this bath oil on every bath.
