Take 2 tea-bags and a small cucumber. Immerse the tea-bags in hot water, squeeze out excess moisture and leave to cool. Grate finely the cucumber.
Then close your eyes and lay down with the cool, wet teabags over them for a few minutes. Tea is mildly astringent and will cool and relax the eyes. Next, place the cucumber mixture over the eyes in the same way, avoiding contact with the actual eye itself. Relax and let the cooling enzymes do their work. Rinse to remove and pat the eye area dry with a soft towel.
